Kula Lavender – A Touch of Maui Magic

Our Kula Fog milk bath starts with a touch of plant magic from Maui – Kula lavender. 

Kula lavender not only imparts a delightful fragrance but also boasts various skincare benefits, including soothing irritation and promoting relaxation. 

Leiohu Cosmetics is proud to source their lavender directly from Ali’i Lavender Farm.

Earl Grey Tea – A London Fog Inspired Twist

We took our inspiration from the Kula Fog tea served at Marlow, a wonderful neighborhood restaurant in Pukalani.

Marlow in turn was inspired by the traditional London Fog tea, which combines Earl Grey (black tea scented with bergamot), with steamed milk and a touch of sweetener.

Bergamot is a type of citrus fruit known for its fragrant oil, which is used in aromatherapy, perfumery, and as a flavoring in food and tea.

Coconut Milk Powder – Creamy Indulgence

To elevate the indulgence factor and give it a tropical twist, we’ve added coconut milk powder to our Kula Fog bath soak.

Coconut milk is rich in vitamins and fatty acids, which can help moisturize and soften your skin. 

It also complements the floral and citrusy notes of lavender and bergamot with a subtle, creamy undertone, making your bath feel like a tropical escape.

DIY Lavender Milk Bath Recipe by Leiohu Cosmetics

Ingredients:

• 1 cup Epsom salt
• 1/2 cup Kula lavender buds (dried)
• 1/2 cup Earl Grey tea leaves
• 1/2 cup coconut milk powder
• 10-15 drops lavender essential oil
• 5-7 drops bergamot essential oil

Instructions:

• Combine the Epsom salt, dried Kula lavender buds, and Earl Grey tea leaves.
• Mix well to ensure even distribution of the ingredients.
• Add the coconut milk powder.
• Carefully add the drops of lavender and bergamot essential oils to the dry mix. Be sure to blend them evenly for a consistent fragrance throughout the soak.
• Store your Kula Fog lavender milk bath blend in an airtight container or a decorative jar.
• To avoid bathtub cleanup you can also portion it into these cute bath tea bags. 

How to Use Your DIY Lavender Milk Bath

• Fill your bathtub with warm water.
• Add 1/2 to 1 cup of the Kula Fog lavender milk bath mixture to the running water.
• Swirl the water gently to help dissolve the mixture.
• Immerse yourself in the fragrant, creamy bath and let the soothing properties of lavender and bergamot envelop you in tranquility.
